I couldn’t wish for a better start of 2017! After a publication in Bridal Buyer Magazine 2 weeks ago, my artwork is now published in the Dutch CosmoGIRL. This is basically the teenage edition of Cosmopolitan magazine. I was asked to collaborate with them for the page ‘illustrate us’. The page features an illustration which I made especially for CosmoGIRL and a short interview about my style, goals, dreams and life lessons.
I wanted the illustration to feature different types of girls and a diversity of clothing styles. All can be considered a bit preppy and Parisian chic I think, but they are distinct nonetheless. The lady on the left is wearing a classy black Dior blazer and a Hermes handbag. It’s a real office chic outfit. The lady in the middle is wearing a Burberry blazer with a skinny jeans and black booties, whereas the lady on the right is showing a typical ‘je-ne-sais-quoi’ outfit with a floppy hat and a coffee-to-go.
