May has been a busy month! I had a live illustration event every weekend - not kidding! And one of my favorites was the one for Guerlain. I travelled to Dusseldorf in Germany to make portraits of Guerlain customers during 3 days! The event was set around the German Duftstar festival, which is a business event for perfume brands. Here are some of my favorite illustrations which I created during this event.
The event was set in the Douglas at the Köningsallee, the big fancy shopping street of Dusseldorf. I used ink, watercolors and special gold-toned pigments to create stylish portraits on the spot, within 5-10 minutes. It was great!
